VibeTrack is a Chrome browser extension that helps you save and search your AI conversations. This policy explains how the extension handles your data.

The short version

VibeTrack stores everything locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data with anyone. Ever.

What data the extension accesses

VibeTrack only activates on these AI tool websites:

• claude.ai
• chatgpt.com
• gemini.google.com
• perplexity.ai

When you click the "Capture this conversation" button, the extension reads the visible conversation text from the page and saves it to Chrome's local storage on your computer.

What data is stored

For each captured conversation, the extension saves:

• The conversation content (what you and the AI said)
• The page title
• The URL of the conversation
• The timestamp of capture
• Which AI tool the conversation came from

Where your data lives

All captured conversations are stored exclusively in Chrome's local storage on your device. They do not leave your computer. There is no server, no cloud sync, no remote database.

What we do NOT do

• We do not collect any personal information
• We do not transmit any data to external servers
• We do not use analytics or tracking
• We do not sell or share data with third parties
• We do not have advertising

Optional: Premium waitlist

If you choose to email us or fill out the premium waitlist form, the email address you provide is used solely to contact you about premium features. This is opt-in and entirely separate from extension functionality.

Your control

You can delete any captured conversation at any time using the extension's interface. Uninstalling the extension permanently removes all locally stored data.

Permissions explained

• activeTab: Required to detect which AI tool you are visiting
• storage: Required to save your captured conversations locally
• tabs: Required to communicate with the AI tool tab when you click capture

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or our website.
